Position Summary

We are seeking a Project Manager & Training Specialist with a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership, Instructional Systems Design, or a related field to lead the development of AI training programs that mirror complex human job functions. This unique hybrid role merges curriculum architecture with executive-level project governance, requiring strong research, leadership, and analytical skills.


Key Responsibilities

  • Curriculum Development (25%)

    Design advanced instructional frameworks to train large language models (LLMs) using evidence-based methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, Bloom’s Taxonomy).

  • Project Management (20%)

    Lead full project lifecycles—scoping, budgeting, scheduling, and risk mitigation—for AI enablement initiatives valued between $2M–$5M.

  • Learning Analytics (15%)

    Conduct formative and summative evaluations, A/B testing, and statistical modeling to optimize agent training efficacy.

  • Team Leadership (15%)

    Manage a cross-functional team of instructional designers, data labeling analysts, and learning engineers; provide mentorship rooted in adult learning theory.

  • Assessment & Evaluation (10%)

    Create simulation-based assessments and rubrics aligned with Kirkpatrick Levels 3 and 4 to measure AI agent competency and real-world performance.

  • Knowledge Sharing (10%)

    Author white papers and internal reports to disseminate best practices in AI-mediated training.

  • Compliance Oversight (5%)

    Ensure ethical and regulatory compliance (FERPA, GDPR) in training datasets and evaluation tools.


Required Qualifications

  • Doctoral Degree (Required):

    Ph.D. in Educational Leadership, Learning Sciences, Instructional Systems Design, or closely related discipline.

  • Professional Experience:

    • 3–5 years in instructional design or learning science leadership roles

    • Proven experience with AI training, LLM prompt engineering, and curriculum theory

    • Project management experience using Agile, Lean, PMBOK, or related methodologies

  • Technical Proficiency:

    • Familiarity with AI/ML workflows and tools (e.g., prompt tuning, Python scripting)

    • Competency with project and data tools: Jira, Asana, MS Project, Tableau

  • Soft Skills:

    • Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities

    • Executive-level communication and cross-cultural collaboration

    • Research and publishing track record a plus


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience training or deploying LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face)

  • Background in psychometrics or instructional technology

  • Multilingual (English required; Russian or German a plus)
