If youโ€™d like to make your website accessible to people with disabilities, donโ€™t miss out on todayโ€™s video. John explains in detail all the criteria required by legislation for ADA-compliant websites, and how AI plays an important role in accomplishing that.

It all starts with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines โ€“ WCAG, developed by the world wide web consortium, with the goal of creating a single set of standards for web accessibility, with three levels of success criteria:

A – minimum accessibility

AA – full website accessibility experience

AAA – the most widely accepted standard for individuals, organizations, and governments for making websites more accessible to people with various disabilities.

The WCAG covers hundreds of scenarios, practices, and designed guidelines that explain how an accessible website works and operates, based on 4 essential principles:

Perceivable โ€“ websites must present the information in a way that it can be observed by all people, regardless of their disabilities.

Operable โ€“ users must be able to access all the functions of the website, even if they have a physical limitation, such as motor disabilities.

Understandable โ€“ website must contain clear terms and simple instructions so people can understand the content.

Robust โ€“ websites must be compatible with assistive technology, such as screen readers.

Following all these criteria may be quite complex. But if you want to turn your site into an ADA compliance website, we can help you with that, using AI.
